๐Ÿงน Gmail Cleanup โ€” Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2025

Gmail Cleanup ("the Extension", "we", "our") is a Chrome extension that helps you identify, organise and bulk-clean unwanted email from your Gmail inbox. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and what we never do with it.

1. What data does the Extension access?

The Extension requests the following Google OAuth scopes:

2. How is your data used?

3. Data we do NOT collect

4. Third-party services

The Extension communicates only with official Google APIs:

These communications are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. OAuth tokens

OAuth access tokens are managed by Chrome's built-in chrome.identity API and stored only in Chrome's secure token cache on your device. They are never written to disk by the Extension or transmitted to any third party.

6. Children's privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process data from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and release a new version of the Extension on the Chrome Web Store.
